Actor Charlie Sheen was "stable" after having been transported by ambulance from his home in a Los Angeles hospital for severe pain, associated with a hernia on Thursday morning, representatives said.
"Charlie had a hernia condition for some time," said the representative of the Stan Rosen Field. "I was told by the person who made the 911 call, was associated with a hernia."
Reporters and paparazzi converged on the hospital Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after reports hit the Internet that Sheen was in the emergency room Thursday morning. The hospital refused to give information about the actor who gave rise to media speculation on the endemic Sheen.
Tensions eased later in the day, when the field Rose said that his client is a stable condition and is treated with a hernia.
A spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that an emergency medical unit was called to an address outside of Mulholland Drive, believes that Sheen's house at 6:35 on Thursday. Federal legislation on confidentiality prohibits the publication of details, "he said.
This is the second trip to the hospital for three months in Sheen.
He spent several hours in a hospital in New York in October after police responded to a call in the morning in "emotionally disturbed person" in the Hotel Plaza, a police source told the time. Representative Sheen blamed an "allergic adverse reaction" to a drug for hospitalization.
