The Egyptians and activists from around the world to the streets in several cities on Saturday to show support for the ongoing protests in Egypt and to join the call by President Hosni Mubarak to step down.
Outside the Egyptian embassy in London, people gathered, chanting, banners hoisted and demanded changes.
One brand, which is written in red ink, as follows: "From Sea to the Nile - Egypt will soon be free Freedom of Egypt!"
"People were expressing their anger at the regime of President Mubarak, but even they were also very passionate about their demand for democracy and political reform," said Amedeo d'Amore, who attended the event in London.
The protesters shouted "One, two, three, four, we do not want more Mubarak!" D'Amore said in an e-mail to CNN.
In other parts of Europe, demonstrators chanted slogans in Geneva, in Arabic, French and English, singing, "Out, Mubarak!" Radsch Courtney, who attended the rally there.
Radsch has posted a video on CNN to protest the fact that there was a crowd of people carrying signs that read "Freedom. Social Justice. Democracy" and "Free in Egypt."
Demonstrations were also held in cities across Canada.
About 150 protesters gathered outside the Egyptian consulate in Montreal, CTV reported CNN affiliate. In Toronto, the center of a meeting attracted over 500 people, he said.
Ahmed Khalifa, who helped organize the protest in Toronto, said he has contributed to protests in Egypt and stressed their importance.
