Brandi Favre, the 34 year old sister of legendary quarterback Brett Favre, was among three people arrested today when an active meth lab was discovered in a bathtub of a Diamondhead condominium.
Brandi was charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine and generation of hazardous waste, both felonies, said Sgt. Abe Long.
Arrested on the same charges were Marty Grimes, 36, Mississippi 603, Kiln, and Carl Wynn, 53, Kona Villa, Diamondhead.
The three were discovered at Wynn's unit at the condominium on Golf Cart Drive today shortly after undercover agents made a purchase from two suspects at a nearby gas station, Long said.
Agents arrested David Michael Logan, 40, Dawn Ladner Road, Poplarville, and Alesha D. Kirkland, 25, Old Spanish Trail, Waveland, after the purchase, he said.
Logan and Kirkland were charged with sale of a controlled substance, a felony. Logan was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, he said.
After Logan's and Kirkland's arrest, agents went to the apartment in Kona Village and smelled "an overwhelming odor, smoke and fumes," he said.
